The pre-launch campaign commenced with an unbranded outdoor exhibit at Juhu Beach, displaying two distinct images of Aditya – one with a clean-shaven appearance and the other adorned with a beard. Engaging viewers, the interactive billboard encouraged participation by inviting them to select their preferred look using a QR code, which redirected them to a polling website. Mysteriously alluding to a bet, the website left onlookers intrigued about the purpose behind this captivating challenge.

Beardo strategically spread awareness across various platforms including meme pages, fan communities, influencer networks, and digital channels, effectively capturing significant attention and arousing genuine interest during the campaign. After a period of eager anticipation, Aditya disclosed the poll outcomes on his social media, showcasing his bearded look as the preferred choice and tagging “@beardo.official, you win! Let’s connect.” Subsequently, Aditya and Beardo collaboratively debuted a captivating launch video on Instagram, marking the culmination of their innovative marketing initiative.

The campaign astutely leveraged curiosity, social media involvement, and influencer outreach to underscore the significance of Aditya Roy Kapur’s bearded portrayal, solidifying it as the favoured consumer representation and underlining Beardo’s decision to appoint him as their ambassador. 

Offering insights into the collaboration, the Bollywood actor conveyed his enthusiasm for the partnership, citing a personal resonance with Beardo. He emphasised the brand’s range of fragrances, encapsulating individuality and panache, reflecting his genuine identity.
