Acer, the Taiwanese multinational electronics corporation, has announced its plans to manufacture and export home appliances from India. The company is forming a new division called AcerPure, which will focus on selling consumer appliances such as water purifiers and refrigerators. 

The company has acquired the preferential market access certification, which will enable it to establish a strong presence in the Indian market. In addition to catering to the domestic market, Acer plans to export its home appliances manufactured in India to other countries. To enhance customer experience and support its home appliances business, Acer is also expanding its after-sales services through a subsidiary called High Point.
